Mexico City, August 2025. GAT Expo CDMX 2025 is emerging as a major event for the Latin American gaming industry. The program will take place from August 26 to 28, gathering industry leaders, operators, manufacturers, regulators, and suppliers in a comprehensive agenda that combines two days of academic content, exhibition booths, and business networking.

 

The Preview

Activities will begin on Tuesday, August 26 with the LMG Fútbol Experience, an amateur soccer tournament organized by Latam Media Group. The event will bring together entrepreneurs from various countries in a setting of friendship and camaraderie among colleagues. Matches will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Jesús 'Palillo' Martínez stadium, setting the perfect tone for a week of connections and relationship-building. This sports initiative has already enjoyed success at industry events in various locations.

 

GAT CDMX Institutional Academy

On the morning of Wednesday, August 27, the GAT Expo CDMX Institutional Academy will officially open with a conference program addressing topics of great interest to the Mexican and Latin American markets. Confirmed themes to be addressed by prominent figures and experts include: The Present and Future of the Gaming Sector in Mexico, Draft of the New Federal Gaming and Sweepstakes Law, Machine Importation and Commercialization, Affiliate Marketing, Innovation in Online Gaming, iGaming and Sports Betting, and Combating Illegal Gambling, with insights and analysis from the Colombian regulator and former regulators from Uruguay and Paraguay.

 

GAT highlights the participation of renowned Latin American legal professionals such as Carlos Portilla, Óscar Paredes Arroyo, Miguel Ángel Ochoa, Karen Sierra Hughes, Marco Emilio Hincapié (President of Coljuegos), Luis Gama (former Director of Casinos, Lotteries and Pools in Uruguay), Javier Balbuena (former President of CONAJZAR, Paraguay), and Alfredo Lazcano.

 

Commercial Exhibition

On Thursday, August 28 at 10:00 a.m., the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place with the presence of government officials, association leaders, and business executives, officially opening the commercial exhibition, which will run until 8:00 p.m. Both national and international companies will showcase cutting-edge technology solutions, products, platforms, and services aimed at land-based and online casino operators. This space will serve as a key meeting point for forging new partnerships and closing commercial deals.

Specialized Workshops & AML/CFT Course

On Thursday, August 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., a dynamic and participatory agenda of specialized workshops will take place. Deep-dive topics include: The Revolution in Payment Methods, Artificial Intelligence in the Gaming Ecosystem, Investment Opportunities and New Regulation in Puerto Rico, and The World of Esports and Virtual Betting. Additionally, Oddin will deliver an impactful statistical presentation. Later in the day, Fernando Garita’s Kabata Group will unveil its new services and expanded business scope.

 

Another important launch at GAT Expo in Mexico City is the Immersive AML/CFT Compliance Course, curated by attorney Tatiana Vásquez—an international expert with extensive experience in gaming industry regulation and compliance in Latin America. The course will gather compliance professionals and provide key tools for risk mitigation in gaming operations.

 

Latin American Associations Summit

Simultaneously, the Latin American Associations Summit will take place, an institutional dialogue forum featuring presidents and delegates from the main trade associations of the continent: AIEJA, APOJA, CIBELAE, FECOLJUEGOS, CORNAZAR, and SONAJA. The meeting aims to be the starting point for the creation of a permanent platform for dialogue and strategic cooperation among industry associations in Latin America and the Caribbean.

 

Networking & CSR

Big Bola Santa Fe Casino will host a welcome cocktail at its venue on Wednesday, August 27. The event will welcome sponsors and special guests in an exclusive atmosphere ideal for high-level networking.

 

Additionally, GAT is including a corporate poker tournament in its official program, coordinated by SoluestBet, to benefit Fundación Curando, an organization leading key CSR initiatives in Mexico.
